Refund policy

This policy applies to subscriptions to the CtrlCourt software, published by DEVBOX, taken out by clubs. It supplements our terms of use and sale.
1. Paddle, our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Approved refunds are therefore issued by Paddle, to the payment method used for the order.
2. Try before you pay
Every club gets a 14-day free trial with every feature and no credit card. No payment is taken before the trial ends, so you can check that CtrlCourt suits your club before committing.
3. 14-day money-back guarantee
If CtrlCourt is not right for you, you can get a full refund of:
- the first payment of a subscription (monthly or yearly), within 14 days of that payment;
- each yearly renewal, within 14 days of the renewal charge.
The subscription is then cancelled and access to paid features ends. Your data remains available for export for the period stated in our terms.
4. Cancellation and monthly renewals
You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page of your admin area (billing portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid and the service remains available until then. Outside the guarantee above, monthly renewals and periods that have started are not refunded pro rata.
5. Plan changes
When you upgrade or downgrade, the difference is calculated pro rata automatically: it is charged immediately or credited against your next invoices. The details are shown before you confirm the change.
6. Billing errors
Any amount charged in error (double charge, charge after a cancellation took effect, wrong amount) is refunded in full, within any reasonable time.
7. How to request a refund
- Email us at contact@ctrlcourt.com with your club name and invoice number, or
- contact Paddle directly from the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net.
Requests are handled within 5 business days. Once a refund is approved, the money is returned to the original payment method; the time it takes to reach you depends on your bank (usually 5 to 10 business days).
8. Players' payments to clubs
This policy only covers clubs' subscriptions to CtrlCourt. Bookings and credits that players pay to a club (on site or online, into the club's own payment account) are governed by that club's cancellation and refund policy. When a player cancels a booking paid online within the period set by the club, the refund is automatic.
9. Statutory rights
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
